This here is a demo of the Noise Reducing audio cable by Kensington, basically if you charge your phone and listen to it at the same time through your car audio system, you'd probably hear a very irritating huming noise in sync with the car engine. By plugging in this cable between your phone/mp3 player and your car audio system this pretty much eliminates the noise. I'm pretty sure this is what people call a ground loop isolator though
